This workshop will explore more of the Scaravelli approach to yoga. Though our physical form in fact exists in a vacuum, we discover the experience of space in body through a yoga practice that looks to build bridges into the landscape that holds our life. We will investigate postures in ways that help us find spring and space in our bodies, whilst opening an embodied connection with gravity and the ground. Suitable for those with a foundation or interest in Scaravelli-inspired practice, or those with some experience of related movement or somatic-based practices.

Venue: 110 Newark Street, Whitechapel, London E1 2ES
Price: £45 for the day. Spaces limited, please book early

Bridget started her professional career in the theatre, as a performer and then as a promoter and producer. She has been practising yoga for twenty years and combines her yoga teaching with her work as a media consultant for the Barbican Centre. Having trained with Chloë Fremantle and Anne-Marie Zulkahari on the London YTTC accredited course, she now assists as a teacher and coordinator for this renowned 2-year teacher training.

Rebecca’s background is in the arts. She has travelled extensively, living in various communities and ashrams; her yoga training began in the Iyengar tradition in India. She then trained as a Scaravelli teacher on the same course as Bridget! She teaches classes at her home in Somerset and through workshops and retreats around the country. She is also developing ideas to combine yoga with transformational dialogue.
