Quote 1 from Miranda Tufnell: co-author of ‘A Widening Field – Journeys in Body and Imagination’
October 11, 2010
I have always loved movement. The particular way a person sits, or talks, and moves in their daily life is a ‘dance’… watching movement… (in nature)… All touched and moved my own Body… I wanted to metamorphose and move with each of them… and my body felt silenced and numbed when I came indoors and entered a grown up world of words… Whatever words emerged seemed thin and empty, creating a sudden distance between myself and the experience.”
